Track Detailing

The overlooked areas where dirt and buildup collect.

100% satisfaction guarantee with free touchups and transparent pricing before you book.

Tracks you'd be happy to run a finger along, and sliders that move with one hand again.

Tracks are the part of a window nobody looks at until they do. Grit, leaf litter, and old lubricant collect in the channel, turn to paste the first time they get wet, and make a slider fight you every time it opens. Detailing tracks properly means vacuuming everything out dry first, then working the corners and weep holes by hand.

How we do the work.

  1. 01

    Vacuum dry

Grit and leaf litter come out dry, into the machine — never turned to mud with water first.

  2. 02

    Detail the channel

Corners, stops, and channels are worked with brushes rather than a wiped pass.

  3. 03

    Clear the weeps

Weep holes are opened so the frame drains properly in heavy rain.

  4. 04

    Test the slide

Every sash and slider is opened and closed before the job is called done.

If a slider still resists after detailing, it's hardware — we tell you what we found rather than charging for a second pass.
